"Growth" - 2023

This original painting is an interpretation of what it feels like to grow. The hand pulling itself out of water was created with the intent of showing that "pulling yourself" out of trauma, and growing through hardships might hurt. While it may hurt, still recognizing that it's all essential to the growth and healing process. Even at times you feel like you're drowning and can't catch your breath, this is growth beauty and life ready for you at the end of it all. You will come to realize that it was worth all the hurt that came along the way.
